Snow

We've had 75 inches of snow in Lakeville this season, according to the weatherman Now the days are getting longer, so we're getting a lot more sunshine, which feels wonderful, and I look forward to the temp rising before long. Statistically, March is our snowiest month, and of course we have to get through it and the requisite slush that comes with rising temperatures, before we get to April, when it can feel more springlike.   Neighbor's snow-hang makes it look a little like a gingerbread house that the grandkids covered with frosting.

Old Maid

Nana and I played Old Maid with Max and Anna, and the arrangement was, if you got the old maid, you had to have your picture taken with the card Anna the Old Maid Max, the Old Maid

Anna's 7th birthday

Celebrating a grandaughter's birthday, with her in person, is a rare treat for Nana and me, because Bananz is the only grandaughter we have in Minnesota. Our other two granddaughters live in Colorado. Bananz can hold her own, though, even when her brother and some of her boy-cousins show up to enjoy princess cake and ice cream with her!

November snow

We had good snow cover in mid November, but I'm not sure that we'll be able to keep it around through December for the expected BIG FAMILY- CHRISTMAS GET-TOGETHER
