Two celebrations on Palm Sunday

Our grandkids are joined by their Sunday School teacher moms in the palm-waving processional through the church sanctuary. Ben Matt Anna Holly and Max Hilary and Adam A few minutes later the defibrillator alarm sounded, alerting the church's trained responders and the local 911 medical emergency people to the plight of a dear 70 year-old godly man, Arnold, whose wife had died just a few weeks ago. Arnold was subbing for the regular teacher of the adult Sunday school class that I normally attend. I had my very first conversation with Arnold just a couple of weeks ago. He immediately struck me as being very genuine, godly, and wise, and I told Nana that I was looking forward to knowing him better, but he died in church, early Palm Sunday afternoon So I see Arnold's re-uniting with his wife in heaven as celebration #2.

Winter's good looks

We've had some very pretty winter days this year. This one got an arty boost from neighbor Johnson's nice looking deck

Moor Snow

Adam, with his mom and brothers, came over to play in our Lakeville snowbanks, and discovered that all the residential snowbanks in the county are about the same size ( 4-to 5 feet) this year Adam, 3, with Spidermatt Mizmoor loves her 3 boys, and knows how to get down on their level to build snowforts, shovel snow, and layout an olympic speedskating oval in the garage. Way to go Mom! MizMoor with her 3 sons, Matt, Adam, and Ben Everybody's looking forward to the promised visit to DQ in a few minutes. ptc papa, too. Here, with Adam and Matt Ben, 9, on Mt Blanc Ben, 9, on Mt Smith

Anna -Max on snowbank

It's been the best winter in several years for all of us who enjoy a lot of snow that stays on the ground for about a month. I watched Bonanz & Meaty play, along with the "parentals", as Luke would say on occasion. Bonanz holds her own well in her world which is often outnumbered by boys

Matt Starmoor

Nana cleverly personalized this Star Wars illustration for Matt's 7th birthday card. May the Force be with anybody who comes up against Matt when he's empowered with his light saber! Happy birthday, big guy!
